FIRST MID INSURANCE GROUP’S CLAY DEAN
ELECTED TO THE AMERICAN BANKERS INSURANCE ASSOCIATION BOARD
MATTOON, IL. - Clay Dean, Chief Executive Officer of the First Mid Insurance Group, was recently elected to The American Bankers Insurance Association Board of Directors during the association’s annual conference.
Dean joined First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust in 2010 as Senior Vice President, Business Development, later moving into the role of Senior Vice President, Chief Deposit Services Officer. In 2014 Dean was named Chief Executive Officer of First Mid Insurance Group. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree from Yale University. Dean is currently a trustee of the Mattoon Public Library and serves on the Board of Directors of the Mattoon Area Community Foundation.
