Matt Tanner Promoted To Regional Deposit Manager at
First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust
First Mid-Illinois Bank and Trust announces Matt Tanner has been promoted to Regional Deposit Manager for the Decatur region. Matt began his career with First Mid in 2007 serving as Mahomet Branch Manager, and transitioning into the role of Champaign Area Branch Manager earlier this year.
Prior to joining First Mid, Matt held the position of General Manager for Bedrock Management in Washington, DC. He also attended The University of Wyoming and George Mason University.
Matt will oversee deposit services for all First Mid locations in Champaign, Urbana, Mahomet, Bloomington, Decatur and Quincy. In addition to his new role, he will also continue supervising branch employees and overseeing the day-to-day operations at First Mid’s location at 2229 South Neil Street in Champaign. Matt and his wife Jennifer reside in Champaign.
